Thomas F. Puckett
|

Thomas F. Puckett is
a Managing Director and Chief Executive
Officer and is located in the Rancho Santa Fe, California office of HPC Puckett & Company. He is responsible for the strategic
development and overall management of the Firm’s business.
Mr. Puckett is involved in every aspect of the Firm’s
representation of clients, which includes mergers & acquisitions, debt
capital formation and financial advisory engagements.
Mr. Puckett formed HPC Puckett & Company in
September, 1983. Prior to starting the Firm, Mr. Puckett headed his own
law practice in Topeka, Kansas from 1977 to 1983, specializing in mergers
and acquisitions coupled with an emphasis in specialized taxation. During
that time Mr. Puckett completed dozens of transactions including numerous
specialty engagements in the areas of cable television and optical
manufacturing. From 1977 to 1983, as an attorney, Mr. Puckett completed
numerous roll up and development financings with specialized lending
institutions for the cable television rural classic market.
In 1987 Mr. Puckett relocated to
San Diego and there opened the Firm’s corporate office that same year. That
transition expanded the Firm’s activities to a national presence and has
resulted in HPC Puckett & Company being one of the Nations three
largest privately held communications investment banks and the exclusive
optical manufacturing investment bank.
In addition to his financial expertise, Mr. Puckett
is recognized by both the cable television and optical manufacturing
industries as and industry leader. Mr. Puckett is a Cable Television
Pioneer, and continues an active role in The Cable Center. In addition,
Mr. Puckett founded the Optical Pioneers organization and continues to be
active in the Optical Laboratories Association as a member of the Advisory
Board, Chairman of the Optical Pioneers committee and a frequent speaker
and panelist at the OLA annual meetings.
Mr. Puckett received a Bachelor’s degree in
business administration, with emphasis in accounting from Washburn University
in 1974, and a Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in
1977.

Jason A. Meyer

Jason A. Meyer
is Managing Director of HPC Puckett & Company. He is located in HPC
Puckett’s Topeka office and has direct responsibility for the Firm’s
optical manufacturing, wholesale optical manufacturing and related optical
division. Mr. Meyer joined the Firm in 1998, having worked with the
Department of Veteran Affairs. He was initially responsible for representing
the Firm’s clients in transportation mergers and acquisitions, but later
joined the optical division. In that role, Mr. Meyer has developed an
industry network of independent optical laboratories, extensive industry
guidelines for valuation procedures, and assisted in setting the standards
for mergers and acquisitions for the optical industry in the United States
and Mexico.
His responsibilities allow him
to work closely with the Firm’s clients in order to understand every
aspect of the business. He has direct responsibility over the Firm’s team
in the financial analysis, valuations, offering memorandums and marketing of
HPC Puckett’s Optical engagements. During his tenure with HPC
Puckett, Mr. Meyer has been involved in dozens of successful transactions,
representing hundreds of millions of dollars. He also heads up the
Firm’s special projects division. In that capacity he oversees all
specialty merger or acquisition activities that are outside of the
communications industry.
Mr. Meyer
graduated with his Masters of
Business Administration Degree with an accounting emphasis at
Washburn University. Mr. Meyer graduated magna
cum laude from Washburn University where he rec vcfgeived a BBA with majors in
finance and economics.

Hunter T. Puckett

Hunter T. Puckett is Vice President and General Counsel
of HPC Puckett & Company and is located in the Firm's Rancho Santa Fe,
California office. He is responsible for closing proceedings for
transactions as well as strategic corporate development. In
addition, Mr. Puckett assists in the management of the Firm's
investments and those of related entities.
Mr. Puckett received a
Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of San Diego in 2004
and Juris Doctorate for the University of Denver School of Law in
2007.

Jim K. Faircloth
|

Jim
Faircloth recently rejoined HPC Puckett & Company as a Director,
communications division. He is based in HPC Puckett’s Georgia offices
and has primary responsibility for the company’s cable television
transactions and industry affairs. An industry veteran with four decades
of systems operation, ownership and transactional experience, Mr.
Faircloth’s knowledge of the industry and its players is unparalleled.
Mr. Faircloth first joined HPC in December, 1986, as
Senior Vice President after serving seventeen years in a senior
management role with Storer Communications, including six years as Vice
President & General Manager of the 500,000 subscriber Western Division.
He served as President of HPC from 1988–1990
In 1991, Mr. Faircloth was appointed Chief Operating
Officer for the United States and Asia for Millisat, Inc., an
international cellular provider and cable systems MSO. He supervised
acquisitions and divestitures for Millisat and parent Millicom, S.A., in
Asia, Spain and the U.K. and participated in the company’s world wide
financing initiatives. In 1998, Mr. Faircloth co-founded USA Media
Group, a Nevada based MSO serving more than 60,000 subscribers and
75,000 RGU’s which he operated until it’s sale.
A 1989 Cable Pioneers inductee, Mr. Faircloth was
elected to the Pioneers managing Board in 1996. He was recently
reelected for a fifth term and now serves as Chairman of the Board. He
was a founding Board member of CTAM, a two term President of the Florida
Cable Association and has served as a
director-at-large on numerous state and regional trade association
Boards. In 1999, he was inducted into the Arizona Cable Television Hall
of Fame
and in 2001 was elected to the National Cable Television
Cooperative’s managing Board where he served as Chairman of the
Operations Committee.

Michael R. Jeffrey

Michael R. Jeffrey recently joined HPC Puckett & Company as Director,
communications division. He is located in HPC Puckett’s new Georgia
office with responsibility for, both broadband merger and acquisition
activity, as well as new business development in convergent industries.
Mr. Jeffrey brings 30 years business experience to the Firm through a
wide variety projects, both in the M & A arena and through strategic and
operational consulting assignments in both the United States and Europe.
Mr. Jeffrey’s background includes management roles at Continental Bank
in commercial lending, HBO in sales and marketing, and McCaw
Communications in corporate finance and limited partnership
syndication. He was a co-founder of Robinson/Jeffrey Associates, Inc.,
also involved in cable television investment banking including sale
representation, finance, strategic consulting, due diligence work and
expert witness testimony. More recently, Mr. Jeffrey initiated a
business development role for UPC in Amsterdam, NL, for their Digital
Media Centre offering broadcast and postproduction facilities and
worldwide digital distribution.
Mr. Jeffrey is a Cable Television Pioneer and has contributed to the
industry through various industry association committee positions. He
has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and post-
graduate work in finance and accounting.

Melissa L. Kramer

Melissa Kramer is
Vice President of HPC Puckett & Company.
She is located in the Firm’s Topeka, Kansas office, where she
works with the Firm’s communications and optical manufacturing
clients. Ms. Kramer has direct responsibility for overseeing the
gathering and processing of financial, statistical and operational due
diligence information from HPC Puckett’s clients.
Her department
formats the information for presentation in offering documents, closing
documents and purchaser due diligence requests. These procedures helps
to relieve the Firm’s clients of significant effort and outside
professional fees associated with the process and further expedites the
transactions.
Ms. Kramer joined
HPC Puckett & Company in 2001. Prior
to joining HPC Puckett she was a Grant Facilitator and Information
Management Specialist for a federal grant with the Northeast Kansas
Education Service Center.
Ms.
Kramer graduated from Kansas State University with a BA in Journalism. |
